Formation for the Future: Help Renovate Our Seminary

Saint Francis de Sales Seminary, one of the oldest in the U.S., has formed over 4,200 priests and continues to prepare future clergy, including current and recent priests of our Diocese. To ensure it remains a place of strong formation, the seminary is undergoing a major renovation and invites our parish community to support its first-ever capital campaign with a pledge or one-time gift.

“This Is the Hour for Love” – A Call from Christ and His Church

Fr. Dan reflects on the joy of celebrating his sister's wedding at the Cathedral of Christ the King, a place rich with family and spiritual significance, and on the powerful call to unity and love found in both weddings and the words of Jesus. Discerning God’s Will—In the Vatican and at Home

The surprise election of Pope Leo XIV reminds us that the papal conclave is a process of prayerful discernment, not popularity, as the Holy Spirit guides the Cardinals to proclaim whom God intends to lead the Church. Reconciliation Schedule Update

Beginning the week of May 26, evening Confessions will move to Wednesdays at 6:00 PM, while Saturday Confessions will remain at 10:00 AM and Tuesday evenings will no longer be offered.

With the introduction of the new Office of Parish Transformation and clear paths for parishes facing instability, the plan encourages a renewed missionary spirit to revitalize Catholic life across northern Wisconsin.

A Shepherd Until the End: Mourning Our Holy Father

In the wake of Easter joy, we were met with sorrow at the news of Pope Francis' passing—a shepherd who lived out mercy, hope, and humility through both word and action, earning the title "The people’s Pope." As the world unites to honor his legacy, we also look ahead with hearts full of prayer as our parish celebrates Divine Mercy Sunday and the First Holy Communion of many of our children.
