Fr. Shaji serves as the Parochial Vicar at Saint Patrick Parish. He was born and brought up in India and went to seminary. Before ordination, he served in ministry for a couple of years with youth and children with disabilities, and completed his theology studies at the Angelicum in Rome. He was ordained on July 29, 2002. After ordination, he came to the Archdiocese of St. Paul, Minnesota, and served as chaplain at the United and Children's Hospital, coordinated an outreach program for people with disabilities and prison ministry. In 2008, he came to the Diocese of Superior and served Somerset, Winter, and six parishes in the Ladysmith cluster. In 2012, he was incardinated into the Diocese of Superior; in 2017, he became a U.S. citizen. For the last 14 years, he was in the Park Falls, Butternut, and Fifield cluster. Now he is privileged to serve at Saint Patrick Church and School. Father Shaji shared: "I love Jesus above all. I also love to cook, play basketball and volleyball, to fish, ski, golf, and do a little bit of artwork".
