This is the first stop your child will make on their ten year journey of learning through St. Patrick School.  My name is Betsy Palesh and I am the Prekindergarten teacher.  I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood from the University of Minnesota.  This is my thirty-first year of teaching and my eleventh year at St. Patrick School.  Before coming to St. Patrick School I was the Director of the Preschool and Day Care Center on the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Campus.  I am certified in First Aid and CPR. 

My teaching philosophy is that each child is to be treated as individuals and is encouraged to achieve at their own rate.  The child is given a wide range of learning opportunities and experiences in our classroom.  This is the first learning environment your child will have in a school setting and I would like it to be a very positive experience.  There is nothing more rewarding than hearing a child say, "I can't wait to get to school!  I love school!"
