| St. Patrick Church Pastoral Council
October 23, 2007 (approved)
Present: Fr. John, Sam Cari, Howard Cameron, , Mary Seyer, Carrie Whitacre, Shawn Porter, Mark Sturino, Sr. Bernadette.
Also present: Ken Schaefer, Mary Piasecki, Larry Huiras, Reg Klubeck, , Tim O‘Brien, Mark Nelson, Claire Zajac, Kathy Smoliske .
Prayer Father John led the council in prayer.
Call to Order: Sam Cari called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm.
Agenda The agenda was approved as presented.
Minutes:The minutes from the September, meeting were approved.
October 17, Walk of Good News: Father John passed out the summary from the October 17, meeting that was created by Dennis Cheesebrow. The council agreed to focus for Vision 2009 on Music and the Eucharist.
Education Committee: Mary Piasecki, principal of St. Patrick School reported that the Education committee would be working again this year with the Faith Formation Committee and the Faith Enrichment committee on presenting the Family Skills Workshop on February, 16. She also presented a ministry question; How can all committees work together to promote Life Long Faith Formation in our parish.
To this end, three committees will be meeting on November eighth and Mary agreed to report back to the council on the ideas generated at the November meeting.
Adjournment:The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:28pm.
