INITIAL FORMATION FOR NEW LAY LEADERS OF PRAYER  

September 21-22, and November 9-10, 2012This program trains lay people who are selected by their pastor, parish life coordinator or parish director to become leaders of prayer for their parishes, with a primary focus on the use of the ritual book Sunday Celebrations in the Absence of a Priest. Consisting of two mandatory Friday-Saturday sessions that take place at St. Therese of Lisieux Church, Phillips, they are led by Sr. Marla Lang and Pat Pintens, both of whom have had extensive experience as leaders of prayer in the diocese. A $80.00 per person registration fee is required to cover the cost of meals and materials for two weekends.
