Parish Administrator:   Mary Seyer informed the council that the  sub-committee was moving forward it the creation of a job description and an advertisement for the position. The committee hoped to have interviews for the position scheduled in March.

State of the Parish Update:  Sam Cari reported that he had spoken with the Bishop regarding publishing the four commitments in the Catholic Herald.  The Bishop stated that he was having hip surgery and would be unable to move forward on this matter until he had recovered from his surgery.  Sam recommended that the council maintain a dialogue with the Bishop with monthly updates at the pastoral council meetings.  Claire Zajac volunteered to be part of a new standing committee which would report to the council. The purpose of the committee would be to maintain a dialogue with the Bishop and the Diocese and monitor the progress of the Diocese in fulfilling the mandate of the four commitments.  The council agreed to vote on the creation of the new standing committee at the February meeting.  Sam Cari asked the council secretary to make copies of the approved minutes available with the bulletins at the back of church.  The council agreed to continue the discussion of the goals of vision 2007 at the March meeting.
