C. Church stipend -> Forward money to church ($65K)
1. Make a motion to deposit $20K for church

IV. Vice President Report – Kim Burns
A. Donut Sunday Revamp
1. Flyer to each class responsible for donuts that month
2. Step by step instructions for volunteers for each mass
3. Goal is to streamline process to ensure the VP is managing process and not working each donut Sunday
B. Escript - - A cash-back program that allows the school to make money from merchants
1. Requires people to register their credit cards on-line
2. The coordinator of Escripts will solicit businesses to take part in the program
3. The businesses will give the school a kick-back from the money spent on the registered credit cards
4. We need someone interested in digging deeper into Escripts and the potential for St. Pat’s to raise money
5. Effort lies in getting the merchant to agree to the program
6. Looking for someone to head up this effort/project
V. Old Business
A. Home and School Bylaws
1. Describes the function and operation of Home & School
2. Revised, posted and open for comments and changes before vote
B. On-line voting - -
1. The goal is to implement this year. This will help parents who want to attend meetings but are unavailable due to schedules.
2. Issues are confidentiality and no room for discussion
3. Miss Pieper will look into blogs that could be designed for discussion
C. Request for funding may be available on-line
1. What parameters do we set?
2. Survey program… Create surveys for why people don’t come to meetings and opinions of on-line voting
3. Questions - - The process… How to get people emailing from the school website.

VI. New Business
A. Community Building
1. Church Angels – Children will be invited by Fr. Parr after mass to help clean up the church. This will be on-going after every mass, where children will clean up and straighten up
2. Home and School Parent Liaison - - Room parent to help with call trees and relay information (i.e. donut Sunday)
3. Parent Education - - Please submit ideas … Adult education (prevention of scams)
B. Request for Funds
1. School Planting and Gardens – request $500
a. Discussion of the Eagle Scout project and irrigation system that has been installed and the potential for shrubs and evergreens around school
b. Motion made to grant $1000 for plants, evergreens and shrubs

2. Book Club – request $300
a. Offered to students during lunch time – eat bag lunches and discuss the selected book
b. The requested sum would be used as seed money to buy the books to get the program going even stronger

a. Money goes to each teacher for classroom expenses - $300 full-time teachers, $150 half-time teachers

A. National Junior Honor Society
1. Students will be enrolled
2. 7th and 8th graders need B average cumulative
