Parish Faith Formation Committee
Adopted in February 2008, by the Parish Council as part of a movement toward recognizing Liturgical Catechesis as the parish-wide model for faith formation, the Parish Faith Formation Committee was established and has begun the process of articulating St. Patrick's vision for ongoing and comprehensive faith formation.
Initial Scope:
The Parish Faith Formation Committee works to support life long Christian formation within the parish community. It accomplishes this mission primarily through collaboration with the Liturgy Committee to effect catechesis which is rooted in liturgical cycle and themes that supports and is supported by liturgical action.
Composition:
Formation Committee is initially composed of representatives from the Education (School) Committee, Initial Faith Formation Committee, Adult Enrichment Committee, Youth Commission, Family Life Committee, Baptism Preparation Ministry, Marriage Preparation Ministry, and two (2) at large parish representatives. Ex-officio members: liaison from/to the Liturgy Committee, staff liaison (variously the Coordinator of Youth Ministry, School Principal, and/or Faith Formation Director)
