EPIC CHURCH HISTORY

For 2010 – 2011 all study groups at St. Patrick Parish, whether they meet at church in a large group or in homes as small Christian communities (SCC), will be engaged in a study of Church History, a journey through the history of Catholicism.  Participants will be using  Epic: A Journey Through Church History, Study Set by Steve Weidenkopf & Dr Alan Schreck.  This exciting 20-part (20 hour) DVD series takes you through the major people, places and events that make up the history of the Catholic Church.  You will see the glory of the Church founded by Christ and come to understand where you fit into this Epic story.

 This Study Set includes everything a participant needs to complete the 20-part study.

•   Books will be sold the weekends of August 28, 29; September 4,5; 11,12; and after the 9 AM Mass on September 19. 
  
•  Cost is $30 - this includes the DVD that will be used at each session.
• Groups meeting at church will do the entire 20 lessons this year (September - March).
• Most small groups will do 7 sessions this fall, 7 in the spring, and 6 in the fall of 2011.
